Our Five Current Favorites – July Edition

From a fresh scent in the bathroom to a throw for cool summer evenings, these are my five personal favorites of the month. Simply products that I use myself or love to have in my home.

1. Fig Shower Gel by Mijn Stijl
This black bottle is already an eye-catcher on its own, but the scent is also simply lovely. Fig is soft, sweet, and yet fresh. The formula is mild and lathers well, and the bottle is always within reach in our bathroom.

2. Mango & Passion Fruit Jam by Nicolas Vahé
This is one of those jars that makes me happy. Tropical, fruity, and just right in flavor. I spread it on bread, mix it into yogurt, or use it for brunch. It also makes a great gift, by the way; the label alone is beautiful.

3. Mint Leaf Verbena Soap Hanger by Mijn Stijl
A soap with a fresh, natural scent and a gentle appearance. Made in the shape of a disc and hand-finished. The final assembly is done in the Netherlands by people with a distance to the labor market, which makes this item even more valuable to me.

4. Grooved Sand Outdoor Pillar Candle by Rustik Lys
This pillar candle is specially made for outdoor use, with a thick wick that continues to burn even when it's a bit windy. For the photo, I placed it indoors next to a plant (because, well, styling), but please don't light it there, unless you want to say goodbye to your greenery. It truly shines outdoors, and even unlit, it looks beautiful.

5. Largs Throw by Bloomingville
This throw always sits on the chair in my daughter's room. Light blue with natural tones, delicate fringes, and woven cotton, creating that soft, cozy atmosphere. Made from recycled cotton, which is good for the environment.

For those who are interested: this is what it looked like when I took the photos for this blog. Just with a tripod in the living room, among the plants, with a bit of shifting and trying. Everything is done with love and in-house.
